NASA planned the Artemis 1 Mission to be an uncrewed space mission to the moon. The Orion Spacecraft will commences its journey to the moon at 8:33 a.m. on August 29th and covers 40,000 miles beyond the moon before making its way back to Earth. Even though, NASA never planned for carry Astronauts to the moon under the Artemis 1, the agency intend to do so during future Artemis Space missions. Ahead of this launch, many NASA Astronauts and other astronaut candidates have arrived NASA's Kennedy Space Center to watch the Orion Spacecraft return the glory of humanity to the moon. We are about to take another giant Leap for mankind under Artemis Space Program.
